Hey there K-Zoners! Sid the Sloth here. If you're anything like me, one minute you're on a Christmas stroll admiring your neighbour's decorations and the next you're being chased by a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
Here are a few rules to survive a rampaging dino attack, Sid-style!
1. SCREAM YOUR LUNGS OUT - What's the use of being scared out of your mind if you can't share it? Just open your mouth, breathe deep, and let loose a long, high-pitched shriek! And when you've mastered that, try "HELP! HELP!" and "SAVE ME!" ... You know, to keep it interesting!
2. WATCH YOUR LIFE FLASH BEFORE YOUR EYES - This won't help you survive, but it's really cool! You'll be surprised by all of the great things you've forgotten! Plus, it's a really good way to find misplaced items - like that old yoyo, or your favourite soccer ball.
3. PLAY DEAD - This is a great trick, especially after all of that running! Just collapse to the ground and lie there, totally, motionless. With any luck, the dinosaur will stop chasing you and go get a doctor OR he will eat you. 50/50 chances aren't bad!!
4. CLIMB A TREE - I know what you're thinking: "How am I going to climb a tree while I am playing dead? Won't that be a giveaway?" The solution is easy: climb slowly, like some kind of zombie. Because who wants to eat a zombie?
5. REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY - Turn to the dinosaur and say "Okay, if you want me so badly, go ahead and eat me!" On second thought, that's a terrible idea. Nevermind.
That's all there is to it! Just relax, and enjoy the ride - or as I like to say, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Have an ice-cool Christmas K-Zoners! Don't forget to check out the December issue of K-Zone for an Ice Age Xmas! Plus, my film Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is available to own on Blu-ray and DVD from Dec 2! |
