Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Reviews

Play quidditch and mix potions in this magical game of strategy

Based on the brand-new movie, it's easy to see how similar the two are. Some of the game's cutscenes and levels around Hogwarts look like they're straight from the movie and the characters of Harry, Ron and Hermione look the biz.

The gameplay is actually straightforward (with Nearly Headless Nick on hand to help you out), but it's still fun. The Quidditch sections are simple but exciting enough to convince you that you're actually in the air, while mixing and cooking potions add a big dose of strategy.

The duelling levels are our faves though; there's nothing like flattening an opponent with a powerful strike and then knocking 'em down again once they stand up. And if you don't know yet: Hogwarts is no longer as safe as it once was because of Lord Voldemort! Harry works with Dumbledore to take him on.

Genre: Action

Available on: Wii, DS, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PC
