It's been a long time coming, but the wait should soon be over... Nintendo have announced the late-2009 release of a brand new Zelda game for the Nintendo DS, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks!

Link returns to the kingdom of Hyrule, but this time he's ditched his trusty boat in favour of a new set of wheels... train wheels! It looks like you'll be making your way across the land using a series of train tracks, taking out pesky enemies with your cannon as you go.
The game also looks like a continuation of the previous DS instalment of the series, Phantom Hourglass. If this is correct, this would be the first Zelda game to continue a storyline for three separate games... cool!
