You won't believe your eyes, K-Zoners!

What you’ll need

• Hard boiled egg without shell
• Glass bottle with opening slightly smaller than the egg
• Matches
• Small piece of paper

What to do

1. Put the small piece of paper into the bottle
2. Get your parents to light a match and drop it into the bottle
3. Put the egg on top of the bottle, so the opening is closed.
4. Whoah! Watch the egg drop into the bottle!

Note: To get the egg out of the bottle, hold the bottle upside down so that the egg blocks the opening. Blow as hard as you can into the bottle. And viola! Out pops the egg.

What the?

The egg prevents outside air (high pressure) from getting into the bottle while the flame causes the air inside the bottle (low pressure) to contract. These forces create a vacuum! May the force be with you!
