KZ: Hi Tim, let's start with your vital stats - your fave sandwich, fave toy and fave animal…
TC: Ok, favourite sandwich would just have to be, ham and cheese. Favourite toy? Football!
KZ: We thought that might be your answer. Ha-ha! And your favourite animal?
TC: Tiger! You see them when you watch TV documentaries; just how beautiful the animal is. It's one of those animals you always wish you had as a pet, but I don't think you'd keep one because they grow up too big!
KZ: Very true! Can you tell us a bit about Optus' Small-Sided Football program that you're involved in?
TC: Yep, it's seven a side and depending on the age group, there's no goalie either. The pitch is also smaller. The advantage for the kids is to play on a small pitch, to enjoy themselves, to have fun and to be more interactive with the ball.
KZ: Sounds like fun! Now, we're sure you've been asked this lots of times before, but what's it like putting on the Green and Gold?
TC: It's amazing! It's amazing because I tried so hard as a kid, making sure I practiced every day, and worked hard. My parents took me to football matches, sacrificing a lot of their time and effort, and in reward I got over to England, played well and got selected for my country. So to put on the Green and Gold is sort of like celebrating something, not only for my family but also for the whole of Australia.

KZ: One of the things you do really well is staying calm when the ref's decision goes against you – how do you do that?
TC: I've realized that I've got to set an example on the pitch. You can't rant and rave and do whatever you want, you're a role model, regardless of the situation.
KZ: Are you looking forward to the next World Cup in Brazil?
TC: I'm looking forward to every game and keeping fit. Obviously I'd love to be there for Brazil, as someone that is very passionate playing for my country, and so long as I'm fit and healthy, I'll 100% be there!
KZ: What would be your top three tips on how to be awesome at football?
TC: First thing would be practicing, make sure that you always practice! If you really want to be a footballer, secondly just to to have fun and third to have a good attitude like remembering your manners on the field.
KZ: Great tips! Thanks a lot for the chat, Tim!
