KZ: Hi Max! Planet Lulin is so funny! Were there any scenes where you couldn’t stop laughing?

M: When we were sitting with the Alpha Squad, I had to say a line about Verjonica [played by Carlee Clements] winning a three-legged race with only two legs. Uma kept looking at me funny and we couldn’t stop laughing.

KZ: Who do you think is the funniest person in the cast?

M: Uma [who plays Henri] was the funniest person, as she always made funny faces and did silly things to make me laugh. We had so much fun together!

KZ: There are interesting creatures, items, and gadgets in Planet Lulin! Is there one you want to have in real life?

M: The Braxadragon – he became my friend in the show after I was in his stomach for so long! He would live in my bedroom, and I would do funny hairstyles on him. I can also share my pancakes with him.

KZ: The SCI-BOG is a major competition in the show! How are your science skills in real life?

M: My science skills in real life are pretty good, I have this wacky fun science teacher at school. We did this great rocket experiment with a bottle that we filled with a liquid mixture, it then exploded and fizzed, making the rocket shoot into the sky!

KZ: Spider wants to eat nuggets out of the SCI-BOG trophy. Which of your favourite snacks would you use to fill the trophy?

M: I will fill the trophy with Tim Tams just out of the fridge.

KZ: Which scene was the hardest to shoot?

M: The hardest scene to shoot was the last scene as I knew that shooting was coming to an end and was sad as I would miss the cast and the crew. I loved working on the show, playing Spider and being with my friends.

KZ: Can you share any secrets from behind the scenes with K-Zoners?

M: Every Friday, we would have themes for dress ups. One time it was Barbie theme, we all wore pink fun accessories, another was crazy hat day, but my favourite was pyjama day. It was hard to take anyone seriously on this day when all the crew where in pyjamas, slippers, crazy onesies and dressing gowns.

KZ: What are your hobbies?

M: I love watching scary movies and things about ghosts. I would love to be a paranormal investigator and chase ghosts. Just like a modern day Ghostbuster.
