KZ: In the show, Timmy gifts Cosmo and Wanda to his cousin Viv and her new step-brother, Roy. What is the best gift you have ever received?
D: It might be landing the role of Cosmo on Fairly Odd Parents. Although it doesn't really qualify as a gift, but it has certainly turned into an enormous part of my career, my friendships and my work. I have to say that that's very fortunate and it certainly feels like a gift.
S: Sort of the same thing; just being able – when I started off, off, off, off Broadway – to actually be able to make a living as an actor was a pretty big gift. I feel very fortunate in that respect.
AG: If I can get a little sappy, the best gift would probably be getting this part and getting to work with such amazing actors.
T: My favourite gift was getting the show, but also the crazy stunts I got to do in this show because I got to skydive and do gymnastics. It was really cool.
I: First of all, I'm gonna say this show, but, I definitely also say my dog – I got a dog for Christmas!
AG: I was gonna say that too!
KZ: Tell us about your dogs!
I: My dog’s name is Bernice. She is a Formosan Mountain Dog x German Shepherd.
AG: I have two puppies; a five-year-old Pekinese called Peanut and a two-year-old Pug called Pancake.
KZ: Awesome! Tyler, how much experience in stunts did you already have, and how much did you learn while doing the show?
T: Quite a lot of them I already knew, because I did a lot of gymnastics and flips and stuff, and that was really fun. I did learn a lot of stuff like, Audrey, Imogen and I learned how to use a whip, which was really cool.
KZ: Who do you think is the funniest person in the cast?
AG: Everyone is so hilarious, but I'm going to have to go with Laura Bell Bundy. She's always coming up with jokes so quickly. She has a theater background and is so good at going so quick, coming up with things.
T: I definitely say Laura Bell, and Imogen.
I: I'd say Laura Bell, Tyler, RJ, and everyone else!
KZ: How often are the cast able to improvise on the show?
AG: Every episode, every scene, somebody improvised something. That's the best part about a show like this, you can really do whatever you want.
T: As it went on, we actually started to improvise a little.
AG: We did, we got some pointers on improv.
I: The thing I love about the show is, whenever you ask the director something, they're like, ‘You know what? Do… more!’ You can go forever and ever with the comedy.
KZ: Are there any details that you spotted in the show as Easter eggs for long-time fans?
D: As far as Easter eggs for long-time fans, I've already recognized a couple of references to earlier episodes and earlier season, so I know they're there. I don't want to give away what they might be, but they do exist.
S: Viewers will be delighted by some of the references and the writers clearly know their subject here, so it'll be a lot of fun!
KZ: Cosmo and Wanda are animated characters that appear in the live action scenes. If your character could spend time in the real world for a day, what would be your ideal adventure together?
S: Go to Australia!
D: Yes. I think I'd like to know what it's like to sit on a plane for 14 hours.
KZ: Even though you're going to go to Australia together, you won't utilise any wish – you'll still do the 14 hour flight! How often do you think you actually use your character’s voice with people in real life?
S: That's definitely part of our daily life, using different voices – even with our friends, it's such a wonderful thing to play around with. I've been asked to send messages to my friend's kids for their birthdays or whatever. It's loads of fun.
KZ: What has been your oddest experience in all your years voicing the role?
D: Probably the strangest experience is just speaking with my normal speaking voice, and then someone still being able to recognise that I do the character’s voice. That always sort of surprised me because I thought, ‘How could you hear Cosmo in in this?’ but people can hear it. It's amazing.
