Meet Nick Kyrgios, the almost unknown Aussie tennis player who beat world number 1, Rafael Nadal in the 4th round of Wimbledon, 2014.
Nick Kyrgios is from Canberra, Australia and is only 19 years old. His birthday? 27 April, 1995.
Before this tournament turnaround, Kyrgios' previous victories included winning the Boy's Singles at the Australian Open 2013, and Boy's Doubles at Wimbledon 2013. Yep, this time last year he was in the Boys category!
Kyrgios' dad is from Greece, and his mum is from Malaysia. He has and older brother who is a lawyer and older sister who is an actor.
If he wasn't a crazy good tennis player, Kyrgios would be a basketballer. He even used to rep for Australia in the sport!
"Soz Nadal, I was just too good!"
"Next time, Kyrgios!!!"
(K-Zone imagines what these two said to eachother after Kyrgios' win)
