KZ: Hi Ryan and Hamish! How do you try to level up challenges from previous seasons?
R: There is a whole team of people that create the challenges for the show, but the most important thing we all do is test out the challenges to see how the contestants will go. We love testing them to make sure they are doable and can be awesome.
KZ: If you could pick anyone to be a guest competitor on the show, who would you pick?
R: We’ve always said that we would love to be competitors against the other hosts and judges from LEGO Masters’ other shows around the world. That way we could represent Australia!
KZ: Hamish, what is your earliest memory of LEGO from your childhood?
H: I went to the LEGO exhibition at Chadstone in Melbourne and couldn’t believe how much LEGO was there. I remember thinking “I’ll never see this much LEGO ever again”. How gloriously wrong I was.
KZ: What are your top tips for our readers for being a master at hosting?
H: Please don’t ask me that people will find out there’s absolutely zero tips to hosting cos anyone could do it!
KZ: LOL! Ryan, which LEGO universe would you rather be stuck in: LEGO Star Wars or LEGO Marvel Cinematic Universe?
R: Star Wars for sure. They get to go to all manner of incredible planets and places, often the scenery and planets are overshadowed by the action scenes, so I think id love to be a Star Wars tourist!
KZ: Nice! Do you have any upcoming projects or builds that you can tease?
R: That’s a tricky one, we’re always working on great stuff. Our book Bricktionary has been so successful we’ve made a couple of exhibitions about it, so there is lots of super awesome things in that show which we love building.
