OF COURSE

Prepare yourself for races that totally transcend dimensions! Sonic The Hedgehog has travelled through all sorts of worlds before, but mysterious new Travel Rings are taking him across the multiverse in this adventure! Expect the unexpected while you race, as each course will change with every lap! Make your way through the first lap, but ger ready! On the second lap, you’ll head through Travel Rings to dive into other CrossWorlds. You might think you’ve gotten the hang of things, but a new surprise will be around every corner. In the third and final lap, you’ll be on the same track as the first lap, but many aspects of the course will change!

GADGETS AND GIZMOS

The gadgets are a cool new feature that have the power to change the race outcome! Adding different gadgets to your vehicle gives you abilities that change your playstyle options. There are over 70 gadgets available, and you can craft your own machine. Whether you want to heat up the competition, unleash more items, or feel a bit more confident while drifting, there’s a gadget for everyone and everything!

RACING RANKS

You can play online and compete against players around the world, rising through the ranks from ‘E’ to ‘A’ – with the best players reaching ‘Legend’ rank! A new rank also earns you new gadgets! There’s also a singleplayer mode with seven competitions, to truly test your skills. Reaching first place isn’t simple!

SONIC CENTRE

There are 23 racers currently available from Sonic’s world! Other than the Blue Blur himself, you’ll find Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream and Cheese, Big, Silver, Blaze, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Zavok, Zazz, Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Egg Pawn, Sage, Jet, Wave, and Storm! There are also three Season Pass Sonic Prime racers (Nine, Dread, and Rusty Rose) for the Digital Deluxe Edition, and a Bonus Racer (Werehog) as a pre-order bonus for the digital version and an early purchase bonus for the physical version!

CROSSWORLDS CREW

There will also be racers from across the multiverse for you to pick, if you have the Season Pass from the Digital Deluxe Edition! Joining the track from Minecraft, there’s Steve, Alex, and a Creeper! Arriving from Bikini Bottom, you’ll see SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star! The star of Pac-Man and those pesky Ghosts will also be behind the wheel. Keep an eye out for a master of all the elements, and a few turtles in a half-shell (turtle power)! There are also three free Post-Launch racers (with many more to be revealed), and these racers will be added to the game through free updates for everyone.

PEDAL TO THE METAL

You can pick between five types of vehicle, until you find the kind that best suits your unique racing style! There’s Speed Type, Acceleration Type, Handling Type, Power Type, and Boost Type! The CrossWorlds characters will also mean related courses, like a Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Pac-Man track, plus vehicles – Minecarts anyone?
