At the end of the first lap you race through a travel ring (aka portal) and wind up in a whole new world! The person in the lead gets to choose where you go, then after a lap you’ll zip back to the original track! Cooler still, the final race in a Grand Prix consists of the three previous circuits – one lap apiece!

PLANES, BOATS AND AUTOMOBILES

Even regular racing will keep you on your toes. Your handy dandy roadster can do more than just glide over land, it can also soar into the air and skim across the seas! These transformations take some practice, but you’ll be absolutely flying – literally – in no time. For an extra challenge, try the sonic and supersonic speed classes!

KART BLANCHE

You can customise your kart like crazy, so bar anything pre-built and pick your own parts! First, choose the front and rear chassis, plus the wheels, then select a colour scheme, add some decals, happen upon a horn and even give your vehicle some verve with an awesome aura. You’ll need tickets to purchase anything that’s locked, so get racing and earn some!

GO GO GADGET GEAR!

One fang-tastic feature that really sets CrossWorlds apart is its gadget system. This lets you build different sets of perks that you can choose between before each race. Want to gather rings more easily? Charge your powerslide boost a little faster? Start with certain power-ups? Hold more items? Bust faster air tricks? Simply select the perks that suit your style!

POWER-UP PARTY

No kart racer is complete without a sweet suite of items! The homing punch locks on to the racer ahead and bops ‘em in the back, the slime slows and pops power-ups, and the tornado keeps things clear. Just to mention a few. Oh, and don’t forget to grab as many rings as you can. The more rings you have, the faster you’ll go!
