Mario Tennis Fever Intro

Mario Tennis Fever Intro

You’ll have a ball next year when the newest Mario Tennis game smashes its way onto centre court, serving up a rally rad twist on tennis tourneys! Available On: Switch 2

Super Mario may be stocky, but boy can he move on the tennis court! In Fever, he’s joined by 37 other classic characters, and each has the skills to pay the bills. Sure, you’d expect the basics like topspins, slices, volleys and smashes, but how about slides and dives? EZ! To really become a tennis titan, you’ll want to use one of the new Fever Rackets. There are 30 of these bad boys and they’ll blow up the spot – sometimes literally. The Bullet Bill Racket turns balls into zooming Bullet Bills, the Ice Racket can make opponents slip and slide on a frozen floor, and the Mini Mushroom Racket shrinks your challengers down to size. Fever has a multitude of modes too, including Tournaments (with commentary by a Mario Wonder-style talking flower), Trial Towers, and Mix It Up, which throws weird and wacky match rules at Mario and pals. You’ll even go on an adventure on a mysterious island filled with baddies to best! Ace!

DID YOU KNOW?

Some of the best Mario Tennis games back in the day had RPG elements, letting you level up, explore off-court and chat to rival players. Fever’s story-driven Adventure mode sounds a lot like this, and we’re all for it! Also! Did you know that Waluigi was originally created for Mario Tennis on N64? Waaaa!
