So er, what's the deal?

As soon as man-made waves were invented, the pros were always gonna try and surf 'em – and they totally have! (On a new type of surfboard.) Next came the gnarly grommits, and now it's an international sport with pro peeps competing all over the world.

The difference between surfing and flowriding is that man-made waves start in front of you, unlike surf IRL which starts behind. Oh, and there's waaaaay less sharks too – bonus!
