BIG BASH 2015 IS HERE

BIG BASH 2015 IS HERE

Lou shows you the players to watch in 2015/2016 in the cricketing world!

Hey K-Zoners!

So the 2015/2016 Big Bash League officially kicked off last week and I am so stoked. It’s going to be epic, especially coz for the first time there’s going to be Women’s BBL, meaning double the cricket! Summer = sorted. Oh, and I’ll be cheering for the Sydney Sixers. What about you?

Anyway, I won’t turn this into a post about how rad the Sixers are! Instead, I’ve been thinking about which cricketers will be the ones to watch this season. Here are my picks. Let me know if you agree!

Cameron Boyce

CAMERON BOYCE

After bowling only one over in Hobart Hurricanes’ last match and struggling with form, we reckon Boyce has a lot to prove and he’s going to be working super hard to show why he’s an awesome spinner.

Ellyse Perry

ELLYSE PERRY

Perry is the youngest person to represent Australia in cricket and the first Aussie to play both cricket and soccer in World Cups. She’s pretty much good at everything and will definitely help the Sydney Sixers dominate this season!

Michael Klinger

MICHAEL KLINGER

This legend is so driven to succeed that he’s tailored his training to allow him to hit the ball longer and run at high intensity for an entire 20-over innings. Can’t wait to see his hard work pay off for the Perth Scorchers!
Sarah Taylor

SARAH TAYLOR

Taylor is super fierce! This wicketkeeper-batter made history in October by becoming the first woman to play in a men’s two-day A grade match in Australia. She’s also the youngest female cricketer to score 1000 runs in ODIs. Woo! Now she’s playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the WBBL and will be unstoppable!

Make sure you check out the BBL fixture so you can catch a game near you.

Happy cricket watching, K-Zoners!

See you at the SCG,

Lou
