Yo K-Zoners!
Yieeeeew! It’s Formula 1 time again! The 2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix is this Sunday, March 20 in Melbourne. It’s the first race of the season and it’s going to be epic. It’ll be conducted over 58 laps and a distance of roughly 307km will be covered.
Oh, and if you’re in Melbs, there’s racing action on all weekend at Albert Park – there are four V8 Supercars races before Sunday’s Grand Prix. If you’re heading there, let us know in the comments below! I also heard that some of the drivers will be signing autographs, so make sure you head to the F1 Fan Zone Stage. Maybe you’ll even be able to get a selfie with one of them!
For everyone else, you can catch the Grand Prix on TEN. It starts at 4pm. I’ll be parked in front of my TV that day, cheering on number three Daniel Ricciardo, who’s part of the Red Bull Racing team. Check out the April issue of K-Zone for more on him, and to get a look at his wicked wheels.
I’ll leave you to froth on this awesome pic of the 11 F1 teams competing in the 2016 Formula 1 Season. On the top row we’ve got Mclaren, Force India, Haas and Toro Rosse. On the second row there’s Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari and Renault. And on the bottom row we finish up with Williams, Manor and Sauber.
