In Wheel World you play Kat, an aspiring cyclist with an extremely spirited bike… literally! At the start of the game Kat comes across a rusty ride inhabited by a supernatural spirit named Skully. This spooky skeleton head explains that its legendary bicycle parts were stolen and it needs your help getting them back. This means exploring far and wide across Wheel World, eventually challenging each of the top riders that grabbed the gear. Along the way you’ll take on a whole host of bike gangs in races, and you’ll nab new parts to upgrade your ride. Do you want speed and handling? Or off-road readiness? You’ll also stumble upon secrets, fast travel via ‘portal potties’ and let the game’s awesome synthwave soundtrack wash over you. Wheel World isn’t as fast and furious as most racers, but there’s plenty of fun to be found drafting to build boost, sleekly steering through S bends and sailing through shortcuts. It has a cool cartoony look too!
