The BFG Trailer

The BFG Trailer

Your first look at the actual BFG in the new trailer
the-bfg-trailer
As a massive Roald Dahl fan, I’m pretty excited about the new trailer for The BFG! Check it out below!

Also, before you go any further, possible spoilers below! You are entering giant (spoiler) country, so beware!
There was previously a very short trailer released but we never got to see one of the most important parts of the movie – The BFG himself! Now there are plenty of shots of The BFG in action, whether it’s picking up Sophie, running through the English countryside, or walking around his giant home!
There are heaps of cool little details too – that weird vegetable The BFG is chopping up (which is kind of scary!) is totally a snozzcumber. In the book by Roald Dahl, The BFG eats snozzcumbers, which taste terrible, because he refuses to eat humans like other giants do! I also loved seeing The BFG carrying his trumpet – I won’t mention what magical thing he can do with it, but it’s pretty cool!
Speaking of other giants, that shot at the end is pretty intense! The biggest giant is definitely the Fleshlumpeater – in the books, he likes to torment The BFG, especially since The BFG is the smallest giant around. I can’t even imagine how scared Sophie must be!
