A game for all the wordsmiths out there! In Word Play you form words out of the tiles in front of you, and the longer the word – and the trickier the letters you use – the higher the points you’ll be awarded. What makes it unique, however, is that you get to choose modifiers that will impact how you’ll play. Maybe you get extra points if a word has letters doubled up. Maybe you get a modifier that lets you swap a tile for the vowel of your choice. It’s a cool concept, but a tad tricky to work out the top tactics. The best place to start is probably casual mode where you only have one modifier at a time. Strategic mode is where things really heat up, with five different options, taking you from easy difficulty to legendary and then on to marathon. This is a great way to test your vocabulary and your spelling so give it a shot!
GAME NINJA PRO TIP!
Pay attention to the rules for Special Rounds! Your words may need to be a certain length or include particular letters, otherwise you won’t get any points! Also, if you’re close to finishing a round, sometimes it’s best to save your best tiles for the next round. Use a basic word!
