This Week In Sport

Lou rounds up the best of sport this week, including wrestling, cricket, football and tennis!

Hey K-Zoners,

So much has happened in the world of sport over the past week! Here are my highlights. Let me know yours in the comments below!

The Rock

The Rock Returned to WWE

The Great One hijacked a Raw segment to let everyone know he’ll be at Wrestlemania 32 in April. He didn’t say exactly what he’ll be doing there, but who cares. It’s the Rock! Best moment? Has to be when he went off script and gave the mic to some fans in the front row, no doubt stressing out boss man Vince McMahon!

Adam Lallana’s Last Minute Goal

The scores between Liverpool and Norwich City were all tied up, until superstar Lallana secured a 5-4 win in the 95th minute. The team celebrated so much that their manager accidentally broke his glasses. LOL. If you didn’t see it, try and catch a replay coz this match is being called the game of the season!

Lleyton Hewitt

Lleyton Hewitt’s Last Match

After losing to David Ferrer at Rod Laver Arena, Lleyton Hewitt farewelled the crowd for the last time. We can’t believe this Aussie legend is retiring! But we’re super stoked that he was honoured on Australia Day by being awarded an AM (Member of the Order of Australia).

Sydney Thunder Claim the BBL Title

In front of 47,672 fans, Sydney Thunder scored a three-wicket win against the Melbourne Stars. It was so tense! Congrats to both teams – I can’t wait to see how you go next season!
