Notch’s birthday is on Monday, June 1! We figured we should show him some appreciation, seeing he’s done so much for gamers all over the world!

Here are five easy ways to celebrate him:

1. Make a Minecraft birthday cake

   We’re talking the blocky kind! Don’t forget that like any cake, the bigger the better! Make sure you send us a pic of it too – your tasty creation just might appear in a future issue of K-Zone.

2. Have a Minecraft sesh after school

   Get your siblings and school friends involved and build, build, build!

3. Notch-ify your room

   Draw, design and print out a Notch poster to stick on your wall! He’s by far the coolest coder there is.
