KZ: Hi Tahlia! How did you get into cricket and what made you decide to be a professional cricket player?
T: I played just about every sport as a kid but ended up pursuing cricket and have always wanted to play at the highest level.
KZ: What pre-match rituals or superstitions do you have?
T: My pre-match superstition is kicking the footy (AFL) on the ground before warm-up. And on game day I always eat smashed avo and eggs.
KZ: What has been the funniest moment that has happened while playing?
T: I used to play cricket with my hair down which always manages to get brought up and people have a bit of a laugh at me for that.
KZ: Outside of cricket, what are your hobbies?
T: I love getting down to the beach, taking my dog for walks and playing a bit of golf.
KZ: If you weren’t playing cricket, what would you be doing?
T: I’d be a high school PE teacher for sure and would love to teach at a specialist cricket school.
KZ: What exercises can K-Zoners do at home to help improve their cricket skills?
T: Just get out in the backyard or at a park and play as much as possible and enjoy it!
