KZ: Hi Thomas! What is the funniest moment in the show?

T: The funniest moment is where Bert gets pulled backwards down a bowling lane by an invisible force. There are so any funny moments though, it’s difficult to choose.

KZ: It’s awesome to see that the Spookies were filmed with actors in costumes or puppeteers! Did you learn anything interesting or unexpected when filming with the Spookies?

T: The work that goes into creating the costumes and puppets was amazing. It was like they bring your imagination to life. So much work goes into it, I had no idea.

KZ: Bert is very enthusiastic about the supernatural and knows a lot about Spookies! Is there a topic that you are similarly passionate about, that you could talk about forever?

T: I absolutely love wildlife and animals and am passionate about animal welfare. Other than acting, I am a bit obsessed with cars – I could talk about cars all day! Spending time with my friends and my family are my favourite thing. I like playing and watching football and also video games, but it might surprise people to know I love horse riding and go every weekend.

KZ: We have K-Zone HQ, so we love the idea of a Spooky HQ for the Crew to hang out while planning how to trap Spookies. What would be in your dream HQ?

T: It would need to be super futuristic. I’d like an Iron Man suit and giant computers to play games and solve crimes.

KZ: Is there a detail in a recurring location that K-Zoners should keep an eye out for?

T: There are some really retro 80’s stuff around that is amazing, but also if you look hard enough you may see a few genuine photos of the cast when they were younger in the background.

KZ: Was anyone ever scared or spooked while filming?

T: One of us – but I won’t say who!
