Pranks of the past: shuttle sham
Back in 1993, the residents of American city San Diego heard on the radio that the space shuttle Discovery would shortly be landing in a local airstrip. Thousands of excited shuttle-seekers swarmed to the tiny runway, setting up folding chairs and cameras, and the cops had to be called to clear the traffic jams. One problem: it was all a big prank by a pesky DJ!

Prank-Star prank of the month: ‘Hole’ Lot of Genius
This little stinker amps up the summer fun at the beach. When your mate/parent/sibling gets up (like to go to the loo or for a swim), dig a big hole under their towel. When your victim lies back down their butt will disappear down the hole! Mwahahahaha!

Parental prank: Fool’s Cold
Get chilly and you can expect a sniffle, right? Well K-Zoners, your parents have pulled another shifty on you. Your body’s arch-enemies – viruses, bugs and germs – are the real culprits for all that snot. If you get more colds in winter it’s because people stay indoors in groups, AKA the perfect putrid playground for disease distribution!

(Truly) Wicked Wheels
Put a massive gob of Vaseline behind the door handle of your parent’s car. When your mum or dad opens up they’ll get an icky surprise all over their fingers! Just don’t tell them you got the idea from K-Zone or we’ll get busted too.

Funny business
This is a great revenge prank for a sibling (or a great way to guarantee one coming back atcha soon). Get all of your sis or bro’s stuff and set up a table outside your house and with a ‘garage sale’ sign. Don’t actually sell anything though – just enjoy them freaking when they find you!

Shower of LOLs
Pour some confetti inside your mum’s umbrella, then fold it up again and put it back where you found it (ideally it’ll be handle-up in an umbrella stand). Next time she opens it, it’ll rain tiny bits of paper everywhere!

K-Zoner Prank
Sneak into the bathroom and put some yellow food colouring into the cistern – the container that holds the water at the top of the toilet. When your victim flushes the water will look like pee!
