PRANK OF THE PAST
Serious Science Fiction!
On April Fool’s Day 1976, British astronomer Patrick Moore announced over radio that at exactly 9:47am, listeners needed to jump in the air to experience an amazing astronomical event. He convinced listeners that Pluto would pass behind Jupiter, affecting the Earths gravity and allowing people to float. Hours later, listeners called the station to tell of their awesome, albeit fake, experiences!
