KZ: Hi Kayden! What is your favourite episode in the first season?
K: The Halloween episode. I won’t spoil it, but I will say a lot of strange, fun, and spooky things happen. Plus, I got to wear a really cute outfit!
KZ: Was there a scene where you, or someone else in the cast, couldn’t stop laughing?
K: There were so many moments where we couldn’t stop laughing at something that happened on set. The funniest one for me was working with Isaiah Morgan, who guest stars on the show. He is a very funny kid – his character reminds me a lot of Steve Urkel and we had a great time working together. Isabella Pappas and I just couldn’t stop laughing at some of his lines. He is absolutely hilarious!
KZ: Will we get to see any musical moments with Hartley in the first season?
K: Maybe… I guess you will have to watch to find out!
KZ: Who has the coolest costume, in your opinion?
K: I think Eva/Surge has the coolest Villain suit. I love how they added a skirt but have these armour plates that give it a tougher feel. The colour is this nice emerald green that is just beautiful!
KZ: Did you learn anything new or surprising while on the show?
K: This is my first big role so I’ve learned many new things during my time on set. For example, I learned that when they need a wooden box to prop someone up higher, they call out for an apple box! I thought that was pretty interesting.
KZ: What are your top three tips for any K-Zoners who want to improve their acting skills?
K: I think the best advice I could give is that you always want to think of the character you’re playing as you but with a different personality. You want your lines and your movements to come across as natural and not forced, so how you would talk or react to your friend or a family member is how you generally want to act on screen. This might not apply to all characters, but it’s the kind of mindset that helps me with my acting.
