Western Sydney Wanderers have won the Asian Champions League trophy!
The victory makes the Wanderers the first Australian champions of Asia! Whoa! The Aussies beat Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal to secure the trophy, with the final score of 1-0.
One of the key moments of the game was Wanderers goalkeeper Ante Covic’s amaze save in the 85th minute against legendary Saudi Arabian player Yasser Al-Qahtani. Covic he says it was the best of his career, and he has been named tournament MVP.
