It's a Marvel-lous week! Soz for the dad joke but it's true. We're heaps hyped for Thor 2: The Dark World, and just heard the awesome news that Hollywood bigwigs are prepping the next installment of Marvel madness: a movie about Dr Strange!

Who is this strange superhero? Dr Strange (full name Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange) is a seriously weird dude: heaps smart (former neurosurgeon in fact) and so into sorcery that he's the Sorcerer Supreme (like the Prime Minister of sorcerers who has to protect the world from dangerous magic).

When he was a crazy successful surgeon he had a car accident that prevented him from able to perform surgery any more. Desperate for a cure for his shaky hands, he found out about a hermit called Ancient One in the Himalayas. When Dr Strange saves the old man's life, he agrees to teach him all about sorcery.

In old-school comics Dr Strange always found himself in crazy dimensions with other comic characters like Loki (yep, Thor's bro), and Spidey.
