KZ: Hi Teddy! Which character and courses did you play in the Parents and Kids Division at the Mario Kart World Invitational 2025?

T: There were different courses every game, and that was decided when everyone voted before the game. We had some hard courses that I wasn’t as confident in. I remember we played Rainbow Road, and my favourite was Starview Peak. For our characters, Mum played as Peach (Farmer) and I played as Rosalina (Aurora). Mum and I also wore matching outfits, which was fun!

KZ: Other than competing, what was your favourite thing about the Invitational experience?

T: Meeting the other cool families from around the world and making new friends. We got to hang out with another Australian family, Levins Online, and they were super cool! I also met A for Adley, who is a really big YouTuber from the USA – she was the same age as me and really nice. The team from Nintendo were also really nice and funny, and it was cool to get to hang out with them. It really felt like family!

KZ: What else did you experience at Nintendo Live 2025 Tokyo?

T: Getting to see all the other Nintendo games like Kirby Air Raiders, and finding all the Pikmin hidden around the expo was really fun. They also had a wall with all the Mario games that have ever been made and it was cool to see them all – some were older than my mum! You could go around and play all different games and see the new games coming out. They also had game characters you could meet and get photos with. We also went to Osaka to visit Universal Studios Japan to see Super Nintendo World and Donkey Kong Kingdom, which was awesome!
