If you have the PC or Pocket Edition of Minecraft, prepare yourself for awesomeness, because the first big update (called the Overworld Update) is upon us!

The main things to look out for are updates to gameplay functionality – there’ll be more redstone components, armor-dyeing, maps, slime blocks and stacks of other rad stuff! Plus, there are two creepy new hostile mobs roaming around (witches and chicken jockeys) so be on your guard.

There are some sweet new skins too – and two are free! (The Composer and Artisan)
