In Helskate it’s more like ‘skate and die’ as this slick shredfest is all about battling beasts as you grind, wall ride, flip trick, grab and spin your way through cities overrun by monsters. When you die you have to start again, but you can spend any money you earnt on your last run to buy a new deck or to unlock permanent upgrades. The better the gear you have, the further you’ll get, and the further you get the more powerful you’ll become as you skate! Why? You add new super powered tricks to your arsenal as you go, and unlock stickers you can bung on your board for new perks and moves! Chaining together colossal combos amps up your attacks for a potent pay-off, and the gameplay looks fast-paced and gnarly. There’ll even be bosses to battle!
