Rumbleverse takes the frantic fun of Fortnite and smashes it into WWE2K. The result? An epic 40-player free-for-all in Grapital City! Wrap your noggin around the basics in supes-handy practice mode. Memorise this: guards beat strikes, grapples best guards, and strikes pound grapples. Each bout is like Scissors, Paper, Rock, except with wrestling. Swap out scissors for head-belting signposts, but keep the other bits. Paper relates to the tops technique books you nab that teach new moves. And Rumbleverse sure does rock when it’s in full swing. Land safely away from other wrestlers. Hide in bushes. Sneak up on unsuspecting fighter foes. Then target the low-health survivors of a recent tussle, or tumble straight for the loot-stuffed giant trophy statue to learn the legendary ropes! Speaking of ropes, we love that the city is the rumbling ring. And def stick inside the closing ring. Plus, prep for the intensely fun final showdowns at the end of each match.
PRO TIP!
Like Obi-Wan Kenobi, seek out the high ground. Up high has stacks of perks. Scan ahead to plan ahead. Plot ambushes. Take a breather. But the main thing to practice? Terminal-velocity explosive elbow drops! Pounce on unaware brawlers below and dish out heavy damage or even KO with this one swell swoop.
