Big-bad Bowser is up to his old tricks again in this two-parter 3D adventure. The Super Mario 3D World part is a fully Switched-on enhancement of the orig Wii U game of the same name. Pick from Mario, Luigi, Peach or Toad with toad-ally unique skills (plus there’s a secret fifth character later on). Mario is the main all-rounder. Luigi is a higher jumper than his bro. Peach can float, which is super handy if you miss a jump. And Toad is totes the fastest. The main game has a stack of tricky treasure-stuffed levels to tackle solo or in four-player local co-op. There are stacks of secrets to dig up in each unique world. But don’t take too long. The clock is always ticking down! Plus, that Bowser’s Fury bit features a Godzilla-sized Bowser inking up the usually lovely Lake Lapcat. Toss a Joy-Con to a mate to play as temporary goodie Bowser Jr in the Bowser’s Fury bit.

Love coins and power-ups? Then you’re gonna love scaling trees. Every 100 coins equals an extra life, so it’s absolutely worth sniffing out every spare coin you can get your mitts on. You don’t need any of the special power-ups do it (though they make it easier). Scale each tree to score secret treasures!
