TELL ME HOW

Good defence is super important! Each enemy you face has at least a couple of attack patterns, so look closely when they’re winding up because they all have a ‘tell’ which will show you what they’re going to do. This will help you time your jump or hammer hit to either dodge or counter their attack!

CHECK ONE, TWO

It’s important to be as strong as the foes you’re fighting. This means buying the best new gear (hammers, boots, and so on), and battling enough to regularly level up the super siblings. You can check how you’re faring by chatting to the trio that arrive on Shipshape Island as you approach the first Great Lighthouse.

SPEEDY SAILING

Once you’ve unlocked faster sailing, use it! This makes navigating the sea currents a breeze. Plus, when the ship comes close to an undiscovered reef or island, it will automatically slow down, so you have time to dash to the telescope to see what’s up! Who powers the ship?
