Rotwood Intro

Don’t let the lush, cartoony visuals fool you! This action roguelike will test your mettle as you fight your way through a forest full of fiends! Available in 2025 on: PC

Corrupted beasts are running wild in the freaky forests of Rotwood and it’s up to you to save the day! Well, you and up to three friends! This co-op cracker looks like a cartoon come to life, but its combat is no joke! Each critter you come up against calls for a specific strategy, and each weapon you can wield plays completely differently. The hefty hammer is all about dashing in to crank out some close-up combos before stepping to safety. The Striker, meanwhile, lets you toss big ol’ baseballs at enemies that bounce off them and up into the air, letting you whack ‘em back! You’ll get offered different power-ups in each run, so no two quests are the same, but you’ll always be making progress by buying new weapons, and upgrading your armour back at camp. Rotwood’s not officially out until next year but you can play it now in early access on Steam!

DID YOU KNOW?
Rotwood’s developers are Klei Entertainment and they’ve made some great games over the years. There’s the cult survival classics Don’t Starve and Don’t Starve Together, as well as the likes of Oxygen Not Included, Mark of the Ninja and more.
