This fast and furious arcade racer takes you to future Tokyo, where the city’s famous expressways have been blocked off and revheads in hotted up cars roam the roads, looking for rivals. Spot a likely suspect and you can flash your lights at them to kickstart a one on one battle. These are no point A to point B races though – they’re battles of racing spirit! You need to prove your prowess by careening past your challenger then holding that lead! The further you get in front, the quicker the competition is over. Between battles you can head back to your garage to spend points upgrading your auto or even buying new battlers. With cars from seven famous Japanese brands you can step on it in a Subaru and make haste in a Mazda, and there’s tonnes to tinker with under the hood of each. Tokyo Xtreme Racer is playable on PC in early access right now so start your engines!
