Hey K-Zoners!

I’m back at K-Zone HQ after a fun summer filled with swimming, bushwalking, playing table tennis and watching the Big Bash. I even went to the Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Stars game at the Sydney Cricket Ground. It was awesome. Highlights included getting my hair sprayed pink while I was lining up outside, seeing fireworks go off when the Sixers hit sixes (say that out loud – LOL) and doing heeeeaps of Mexican waves.

It was also Beach Party night so I wore a Hawaiian shirt, and there were a few giant beach balls floating around the crowd – the security guards kept trying to steal ‘em but the power of the people prevailed! Unfortunately (for me and other Sixers fans), the Stars reached their target of 140 with eight balls to spare. They played super well though so they deserved the win!

If you can, you should try and catch a BBL game before the season ends at the end of January. Cricket fans will love seeing superstars of the game, as well as up-and-comers. Not really into cricket? I think you’ll still have a good time! The games are fast-paced and the batsmen go all out to hit as many sixes as possible.
