Astro Bot Intro

Astro Bot Intro

This PlayStation platformer stars a bot who's a lean, mean, fighting machine out to rescuing friends and save the world! Available On: PS5

It’s time to kick bot! Using your Dual Speeder – a PS5 controller that’s transformed into a fighter jet –  you’ll visit 50 different planets to rescue bot buddies and try to rebuild the PS5 mothership. (A spaceship shaped like a PS5, natch.) Astro Bot is a platformer with a crazy amount of variety thanks to all the different duds you can don. One outfit has the ability to stop time, while flinging on the froggy boxing gloves gives you grapple swings and the poise to punch back projectiles. There’s even a sponge suit you can use to suck up water to grow ginormous and stomp about wreaking havoc. Titanic terrors stand in your way though, like an enormous octopus and a colossal cobra. There are more than 150 friends to rescue altogether, and they’re all pulled from PlayStation past. From Ratchet and Clank to PaRappa the Rapper, from Aloy to Nathan Drake, this is going to be PS perfection!

DID YOU KNOW?
There have been two Astro Bot games already. Astro Bot Rescue Mission came out on PSVR and really showcased how superb a platformer could be in virtual reality. Astro’s Playroom, meanwhile, was like a dope demo for the PS5’s DualSense controller.
