LIVING HISTORY
This shuffling series started as a rad mobile game. Plant, uh, plants to stop waves of flower-munching zombies. Plants vs Zombies 3 continues the tricky tower-defence trend on mobile soon. But Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a sweet 3D action sequel to the groovy Garden Warfare games!
EPIC GARDEN
Neighborville has three huuuge free-roam regions. Keep a keen eye out for iconic places to stomp zombies. Or eat up plants. (Depending on your team, obvs!) Our fave? Colossal Fossil. It’s stuffed with massive dinos. Like, the totes fake-tional Enormosaurus and the Tremenduceratops.
NEW ATTACKERS
Team Plant has sneaky Fung Fu master, Night Cap. Also, Oak & Acorn: a deadly duo packing Super Sap Traps. And blaze-making Snapdragon for flaming zombies. Team Zombie counters with lightning-fast groover Electric Slide. 80s Action Hero’s slick hairdo hides sicker attacks. Watch out for Space Cadet’s legendary lasers!
TRAINING WHEELS
There’s heaps to do in Battle for Neighborville. First stop: Dave’s Manor. As your preferred plant, look for the sky beams. The treasure at the bottom of these golden beams is Major Sweetie dolls. Perform their tutorial tasks. And score stacks of coins as a reward!
TREASURE HUNT
Keep an eye out for treasure chests. They’re everywhere. We dug up chests at the home base. Hidden on rooftops. And poorly stashed in a pile of junk. Use this cool cash to customise your characters! Or toss some coins at Sergeant Peel to mark ’em on the map.
LEGENDARY UPGRADES
Customisable bling not your thing? No sweat! It’s still totes worth popping into a handy Changing Booth. This is where you switch characters. Speedily swap teams. And, most importantly, stack upgrades on every character. Pro tip: def use the ‘Leveling Up’ upgrade to rank everyone faster.
