LEGO Horizon Adventures is a whole lot of light-hearted fun, letting you and a friend loose in a world filled with robot Raptors, cyborg Stegosauruses and, erm, Tyrannosaurus techs. To take these droid dinos down each character has a main weapon – bow, bombs, spear – which can be pumped up with pick-ups that let you do things like shock and freeze foes. You can also snag super sub-weapons like a hot dog vendor (no, really!) that tosses out dynamite dogs to blast bots into bits. You’ll tussle with other tribes too, and one of our favourite moves is picking up a nearby ne’er-do-well and tossing them at the nearest armoured Allosaurus. At the end of each mission you’ll head back to town where you can customise buildings and upgrade abilities. LEGO Horizon Adventures is based on Horizon: Zero Dawn, but we reckon it doesn’t matter if you haven’t played it. This one is all about quickfire co-op combat!

GAME NINJA TIP!

Targeting weak points in combat is key, so use your focus ability regularly to highlight them. You can then hold down attack to charge up your weapon and aim for the glowing orange bits of each beast. You’ll do a ton more damage that way!
