1) Using a âjeb_â nametag on a sheep will make it slowly change colour, naming a vindicator âJohnnyâ will send it on an axe-wielding rampage, and calling any mob âDinnerboneâ will turn it upside down!
2) If you enchant a trident with Channelling you can strike mobs with lightning during a thunderstorm! This can even transform them! Creepers charge up, villagers become witches and pigs turn into zombified piglins.
3) If itâs raining, snowing or youâre in water, you can fling yourself along with a trident if itâs enchanted with Riptide. This is super useful for covering ground or launching into an elytra glide!
4) Speaking of elytra, if you journey to the End and nab a pair of these wicked wings, make sure you have plenty of fireworks as you can use them to rocket yourself through the air!
5) Wolves will instantly attack any skeletons they see. Why? Theyâre made of bones! What a feast! And did you know that the lower the angle of a wolfâs tail, the less health it has?
6) In the Java edition of Minecraft, if you open the crafting table and type âexcitedzeâ in the search bar, it will turn all the menus into pirate speak! Arrr!
7) Cats in Minecraft donât take any fall damage, while chickens will gradually flap their way back to earth. Shame we canât grab on and glide like in the Zelda games!
8) Want to see a mob that isn't in the normal game? Try typing the command â/summon minecraft:illusionerâ for an illager that spawns illusions and shoots arrows.
9) Parrots love music! If there are parrots around and you place down a jukebox and start playing some tunes, any of these beautiful birds that are close enough will start to boogie!
10) Always jump into your attacks if you can. Why? If you hit a mob while falling, it will always be a critical hit and do more damage!
11) Wear a carved pumpkin on your head and you can look directly at an Enderman without it attacking! Donât do this around a Creaking though, as itâs the opposite!
12) Snowballs can be set on fire by throwing them through lava! How does that work? We have no idea! You can also use them to take down a Blaze, which defos makes more sense.
