K-Zone: What up A-Mac? We love slick soccer skills, what’s your favourite trick in FIFA 14?
Aaron McHardy: My favourite move is definitely the Roulette. It’s one a lot of players use in real-world games. I have adapted it to my virtual game and it’s my go-to move. Hot tip: this year skills moves are on the right stick. Just use the right stick as you would have last year, but without holding the modifier. Start with the right stick in the down position and rotate clockwise to try it.
K-Z: Sweet! If you could play in any team in the world, which one would it be?
AM: It would definitely be the Arsenal. I’ve been a fan of Arsenal for as long as I can remember.
K-Z: Big question, who do you think will win the 2014 World Cup?
AM: I’m going to pick Brazil. I think with the fans behind them they will be very tough to beat. Plus I think they are probably tired of hearing how good a certain Argentinian player [Lionel Messi] is!
K-Z: Has it been exciting working on the game for PS4 and Xbox One?
AM: Working on FIFA is always exciting, and FIFA 14 is no exception. Being able to use the power of the new consoles to develop features like Pro Instincts, as well as all the animation variety that we have been able to add with Elite Technique has been pretty cool!
K-Z: Do you play any other games?
AM: Most of my time goes into playing FIFA, however, I do sometimes find some time for some other games. I like a lot of the other sports games we make, especially Madden and NHL. Also, whenever a good puzzle game releases, I try to get in on it. I like a good puzzle game!
FIFA 14 will be out in September (and on PS4 and Xbox One later).
