In Super Mario Odyssey, how do you destroy the Lord of Lightning?

Game Ninja Says

Run to the side to avoid lightning attacks. When the Lord’s head drops, jump up over the lightning waves, then jump up the ‘steps’ on its head. Use Cappy on the golden swords, ground pound the glowing weak spot and dodge more lightning. Repeat to win!
