So you've decided to take a trip to the Minecraft version of hell – the Nether. First of all give yourself a pat on the back for bravery, because things can get ugly down there. It’s super dangerous, but there are defs some unique materials worth fighting for!
Here are some tips to keep in mind before you get started:
- Don’t bring any materials that you really can’t lose because it’s super easy to die in the Nether!
- You don’t need a diamond pick-axe to mine in the Nether – an iron pickaxe is A-Ok.
- You can’t use water in the Nether, so don’t bother trying! The only way to use it is by finding a cauldron to put it in.
- Bringing a bed is a sure-fire way to die in the Nether – once you try and sleep, it lights on fire!
