The main way to get to the Nether is by building yourself a handy portal. Before you get started, the materials you’ll need are:
- Flint and steel
- A diamond pickaxe
- Obsidian
Once you've got these ready to go, go ahead and follow these instructions:
- Make a ring five blocks tall and four blocks wide out of obsidian.
- Take your flint and steel and light the inner ring up!
- Jump straight through to the Nether
One important tip is to build around your Nether portal to keep it safe – it can be put out by a Ghat’s fireball!
