SPENDING SPARKLIUM
Russ has lots of gear to buy, but the device we reckon is most useful is Idler’s Alert, which can call any Pikmin that are hanging around doing nothing! You can buy it for 80 raw materials once you’ve hit 3500 Sparklium. Homesick Signal is also helpful as it sends your Pikmin back to base.

GOOD DOG
Intergalactic pup Oatchi is a spaceman’s best friend. You and your Pikmin can ride him to get around faster or to cross water. He has a charge up attack that can bust through pots but also attack enemies. Plus you can command him to sniff out treasure to nab that final find on a level!

ICE TO SEE YOU
Ice Pikmin are super useful to quickly freeze enemies. A good strat is to select them and then use X to send them all in at once. When the target is frozen you can then double tap X to mobilise the rest of your forces. And if you mess up, choose rewind time on the pause menu!
