Time is broken in the ancient and mysterious setting of Mount Qaf. Huge waves are frozen in place, and the people trapped in its labyrinth-like layout seem to have aged in an instant. Undead soldiers and mythical beasts roam this world too, ready to pounce on anyone who enters. You are Sargon, an elite warrior, and you must fight your way through this maddening maze to save the prince. Which prince? The Prince of Persia, of course. Thankfully, you have some sweet moves at your sword tips, like a clever combo system you can pair with parries, dashes and other mystical abilities. Don’t expect it to be a cakewalk (whatever that is) cos this game’s combat is challenging – the terrifying bosses espesh – but if it’s too much you can customise it to be just right. The Lost Crown is also crammed with platforming and puzzles, and the map itself is magnificent, opening up more and more as you unlock new abilities.

Memory Shards can be used to take screenshots of any locations you’ve visited in the game world. They sit on the map and are a super handy way of remembering spots where you got stuck. Get a new ability? Look at your pics and maybe you can get through now!
