The words ‘wind’ and ‘fish’ don’t really fit together. But in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, you’re out to wake up a Wind Fish. With a bunch of band instruments. Coz it lives in a giant egg. On top of a smoky volcano. True story! If that’s not kooky enough, keep an eye out for nice Ninty cameos. The Chain Chomps from Mario’s super world. Plus, goony Goombas. You might even spy a Shy Guy or dodge Piranha Plants. Link’s Awakening is more than just a crazy-cool crossover. It’s one of the most beloved old-school Zelda games. ’Cept it’s obvs a whole lot prettier on Switch. Tackle all the reimagined stuff from the orig game. Smack baddies. Crack puzzles. Outsmart traps. Then there’s the all-important all-new stuff. Like, earning dungeon rooms. Then building Chamber Dungeons for rad new side challenges. You score ’em through besting main dungeons. Or tackling the fun mini-games. The more you play, the more content you get!

It may look new, but Link’s Awakening has all of the old-school gameplay of the orig game. This means certain bits can’t be played until you score the right gear. Make a mental note when something blocks your way. Then come back and conquer it with the right equipment!
