The Plucky Squire is flat out fantastic! In this picture book come to life you play as Jot and his friends, and you’re the heroes of the story. The presentation is fantastic as you move from page to page, heading towards a showdown with the baddie of the book, the wizard Humgrump. Only, this fiendish foe spins up a spell that ejects Jot from the tale and into the real world! It’s up to you to get the book back on track and ensure it still has a happy ending! This means exploring the game’s bedroom setting and using portals to leap in and out of the trashed tome. The sigma squire is pretty skilled with a sword, but the punchy puzzles are the main thrust, letting you do stuff like altering the sentences on the page to change the story. We also love the mini-games, like boxing against a honey badger or aiming arrows at a swarm of flies!
