Prepare For Tokyo Olympic Games With Mario and Sonic

The Tokyo Olympic Games are racing closer, so why not celebrate with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020! It’s a marathon of a title, but a quick-fix of fun! Available On: Switch

Mario, Sonic and a bunch of their fave pals are off to the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Lucky! What’s less lucky is the games have also been invaded by the big baddies from their worlds. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 lets you settle some of the biggest rivalries and the friendliest ones in a stack of Olympic events. There are 21 new ones. Three rad Dream events (our faves). And 10 old-school retro ones from Tokyo 1964. Those retro races are a big part of the story, too. Big-bads Bowser and Doctor Eggman unite to trick and trap our beloved heroes. A bunch of goodies and baddies get Time Stoned back to 1964. They’ll have to compete their way back home. But it’s not all about story. Dive into the pick-up-and-play events that are a cinch to learn. And heaps of fun to compete in against your mates. Test your Olympic mettle for shiny gold medals.

Each of the events has its own special way of getting the best result. Natch, pay close attention to event tips the first time you play. Then go for gold (literally) on repeat runs! Sometimes it’s best to save precious boosts for a photo finish. Perfect timing also rewards the best scores.
