Games are all about finding your rhythm, whether you’re schooling someone in Mario Kart or building a bonkers base in Minecraft, but in Ratatan rhythm is everything. In this side-scrolling action game you command a squad of soldiers by pressing buttons in time with the beat! These ‘Rhythm Commands’ can gather your crew to you, ask them to go on the attack or direct them to dig in their defenses! Nail enough commands in a row and you’ll fire up the frenzied Fever Mode and lay the smack down! As you can see from the pics, Ratatan is super stylish and completely cute, and the music is about as catchy as it gets! There’s plenty of strategy too, with power ups to pick, weapons to craft and elemental damage to deal. Clever choices will help you take down the game’s big bad bosses, like a huge hermit crab with a pirate ship for a shell! Ratatan will even have co-op for up to four players!

Ratatan is being made by the creators of the awesome PlayStation Portable game, Patapon! It came out back in 2008 and had really similar rhythm-strategy gameplay. Fans loved it so much that they helped fund Ratatan on Kickstarter to the tune of about 2.2 million Aussie dollars!
